Requirements of the role:
- To ensure Cumbria Cricket Ltd complies with legal practices and monitors standards of corporate governance.
- Develop & oversee systems to ensure the Company complies with statutory requirements

- To ensure that working practices are safe and comply with Health & Safety legislation
- Ensure regular assessments are carried out at working places, policies and procedures are properly implemented
- Ensure staff are adequately trained in H & S policies and procedures
- Maintain record of inspections and any accidents or incidents
- Assist existing Directors to investigate the requirements and procedures to establish a Charitable Trust
- The existing Board wishes to expand to meet the current and future challenges of the supporting landscape by recruiting new Directors.
We are looking for people with energy, enthusiasm and, most importantly, relevant experience and skills, to join the current Board and are especially interested in people with experience in the following areas:
- Legal and compliance
- Strategic planning
- Income generation and fundraising
It is envisaged that the role will take up 1 or 2 days per month. General expenses will be paid. Although the role is in a volunteer capacity it may give you valuable insight and experience to develop your career.
