Hi David, thanks for the site. I have heard some commentators mention that bowlers such as RP Singh and Chris Martin have been able to increase their pace by concentrating on leg work (in particular the front leg) in the gym. Do you know anything about this? Is lower body/core strength more important than upper body when it comes to fast bowling?

Keep up the good work! i remember i pulled a match from Sri Lanka in the Junior Asia cup when we required 45 runs from 23 balls with 3 wickets left, i being the only batsman! I was able to do it with determination & courage using techniques listed here especially Self Talk & the 'Stop' technique! thanks a million dude!

I am playing for my university cricket club in Kentucky, US. I am a wicket-keeper batsman for my team. I am not a very good batsman, but working hard on it.
My question is how do you succesfully judge the line and length of a ball early so that you are in a nice position when you are playing a shot.
Most of the times i am getting late so that i have to stop my shot or i am getting into an awkward position while playing. Any tips?
