Vish's Log | |
Hey guys, dont really know why i stopped posting so early on last season but nothing much really happened afer my last comment, hit a couple of 30 odd, nothing significant. I did, however, get my first team debut at the end of the season and got a district trial. Didnt go to the district trial as i had a football match on same day and with my gcses coming up thought it was best not to play too much cricket and didnt think too much of it at the time. kinda gutted now, shoulda gone. missed about first 5 weeks of nets but have been going las 5-6 weeks, two times a week, one junior, one mens. Been netting pretty well managing to try and hit the u16 bowlers more as thats a t20 format and need to attack more and trying to keep my wicket alot, havent really been setting any targets for the nets. With my exams coming up ill be playing 3/4 men games before my exams and during ill only play sunday mornings for u16s, and the one saturday where i have a week break before next exams. So will miss about 4 saturday matches during exams which isnt too bad. So this season will be playing, saturdays, sunday u16s, sunday mens, and weds u17s. Havent thought of any goals yet and will probably make them more towards my first game which i think is on the 17th of April. Any ideas of what kind of goals i should be aiming for? if you hadnt read my log last year, im 15, right handed batsman. As my style is defensive, it suits me to be an opener, dont particularly like it too much though but will more than likely open for 16s and 17s and bat 3-6 on saturday mens and same for sunday mens. All input is extremely useful and will try to keep updating this, questions are useful as well |
